Well, it's that time again. Hunting season has started in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Last weekend (October 27th) was opening day for youths. This special start date allows youngsters the opportunity to hunt without competition from adults. Many families take this opportunity to teach their children valuable hunting skills, with patience probably being the most challenging. Adults don't need to be concerned about the "big one" they are hoping for themselves to be scared away. The kiddos are the main focus of this special weekend. What a great way to pass along the heritage - take a child hunting (slogan of Texas Parks and Wildlife).
